SXU students at the ICTM Annual Conference

ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø (SXU) students Sahar Barakat and Hailey Bramwell presented their mathematics research poster entitled, "FUNctions with Desmos" at the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) Annual Conference on Saturday, October 8 in Peoria, Ill. Their project highlights interactive activities that use functions to mathematically model different situations, along with the use of Desmos, an online graphing calculator that engages K-12 students with investigating mathematical relationships. Their project advisor is SXU's Assistant Professor of Mathematics Jaclyn Murawska.
