SXU's Kathleen McInerney names Consulting Scholar to Humanities Grant
ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø's (SXU) School of Education (SOE) Associate Professor Kathleen McInerney has been named a Consulting Scholar by Malcolm X College for the National Endowment for the Humanities grant application entitled, "Humanities Experience: Developing stem PATHY," a three-year initiative involving curriculum development, construction of transfer pathways, and professional contextualization of the Humanities experience. According to Prof. McInerney, "The project seeks to make the humanities more relevant. We hope these partnerships could connect students to university faculty and advisors, collaborative projects with four-year institutions, early entrance dual-credit programs, internships, scholarship, university guest lecturers, and more."
